Employer Branding & Recruitment Intern

You want to create, from concept and strategy through to execution and implementation. You're not intimidated by a startup environment. You're agile, adaptable, and okay with the fact that no two days are exactly the same. Trailblazing doesn't intimidate you, it's what drives you. 

You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty. We live at the intersection of HR and Marketing. We help make businesses human through employer branding, recruitment marketing, and people solutions. We are a new, rapidly growing practice with a startup culture working out of Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto. We are industry agnostic, partnering with organizations of all shapes and sizes to deliver an effective suite of strategies and tools that elevate employer brands. We believe in delivering long-term, sustainable solutions for our clients – no 'band-aid', corner-cutting solutions allowed. 

Best of all? We’re human. When we’re not rocking our clients' worlds, we like to get out and explore the world. We’re foodies, wine-os, readers, unicorn hunters, adventurers and explorers. It can be a bit chaotic at times, but there's no shortage of greatness in the madness! 

 

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:

  • Partner with a range of clients to strategize, build and launch their employer brand. 
  • Support full-cycle recruiting for your clients as an extension of their brand: source, screen, interview, reference check and manage feedback.   
  • Optimize your client's recruitment process, designing it around an enviable candidate experience that gets candidates excited and improves your client's results.
  • Spearhead Envol’s multi-media content strategy, from strategy and concept through to execution. Media includes blogs, video, white papers, client resources, social media content, and webinars.​
  • Conduct research - qualitative and quantitative - to gather, analyze and interpret data to help your clients make informed decisions about their employer brand and recruiting.
  • Develop internal and external communication and activation strategies, content and materials for clients to communicate/share employer brands in innovative ways with both internal and external talent. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events for the HR community. Check out a recap of our first event on our Blog HERE

 

YOU HAVE:

We're looking for something new - so it's okay if you don't tick all the boxes. If you're excited about what we're doing here, then we want to hear from you. For those of you who like checklists, here are a few things that we would love to see: 

  • Demonstrated interest in employer branding.
  • Post-Secondary education. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal. 
  • Independent, resourceful, and driven problem-solver. 
  • Previous experience in recruiting or copywriting is a bonus!
  • Experience with technologies like Hootsuite and ATS is a bonus!
