Outside Sales Manager

You will lead and manage the outside sales representatives team at Trinity Power. As the first point of contact for new customers, your team acts as brand ambassadors of Trinity Power. As a leader, you will embody Trinity Power core values of family, excellence, passion, sustainability, innovation, integrity, respect, teamwork and commitment. You will work with your team to ensure all outside sales representatives deliver high touch, high care and an exceptional customer experience to all existing and prospective clients.  

Your responsibility is to ensure the outside sales team delivers the expected level of performance and results, measured in closed-won projects, customer satisfaction, knowledge level and job satisfaction of the outside sales representatives.  



  • Create, manage and execute sales strategy, including budgets, to increase market presence and drive achievement of KPIs. 
  • Support and collaborate with Inside Sales Manager and their team to achieve established KPI results (opportunities, win rate, revenue, margin, net promoter score, referrals, repeat client rates). 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop strategies for growth. 
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure our solutions are ahead of the curve and are competitively priced. 
  • Monitor and assess workloads and activities, prioritize responsibilities and delegate work across the team as needed to ensure timeliness and quality of service that positively influence successful quotation ‘wins’ and the customers overall experience. 
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing development of all team members to ensure highest level of technical competency, expertise with systems and processes and use of Trinity Power sales methods. 
  • Work directly with our Leadership team to develop workforce planning, lead analysis, and distribution as well as other tools and materials to enable and drive team performance. 
  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports.  



  • Demonstrated past experience leading & coaching a successful sales team to reach their full potential 
  • Strong business and sales acumen with sales leadership experience 
  • Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills 
  • High business and commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing with customers, suppliers, management and decision makers 
  • Experience with ERP (SAP) & CRM (Salesforce) software is an asset   
  • Advance skills in Microsoft suite: Outlook, Word, Excel 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Canada 
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including working beyond regular hours 
  • Must possess and maintain a Driver’s License, valid in BC
